Personal Preparations

Disrobing

Disrobing to some extent is required for most sessions. Your massage room is private and your therapist will have laid out sheets and towels that you can use for covering. Your modesty will always be protected because your therapist will only uncover the areas that are being treated one at a time. The therapist will not uncover any areas of privacy or any area you do not wish uncovered.

Other Considerations

It would be best to use the restroom facilities prior to entering the massage room. You should also turn off all phones,  pagers & alarm devices. If your head and scalp are to be massaged it is best to leave your hair loose. If there are areas of extreme pain or sensitivity be sure to tell the therapist before they begin the massage.

Your First Massage

Prior to your first session we will ask you to fill out a brief medical history form and if you want us to bill your services to an insurance company you'll also need to fill out that form and sign an authorization. You will need to bring your prescription, a picture ID and your insurance card with you. Your therapist will then interview you to determine the type of massage you need or want.
